    Default SWIFT engine washing....].

    SALAM Friends..
iam posting this thread for them who wants to to clean their cars efi engines (city-swift-mehran euro ii-corolla etc)
and are confused that how to clean engine in a proper way.
so first if engine is xtremely dirty than start with surf mixture+petrol .
just go to any servise station and ask servise guy to wash ur engine by just surf+petrol mmethod is to mix surf with petrol but dont use even a single drop of water and wash it with pressure air +petrol and surf.
2nd after cleaning engine with surf and petrol leave ur car for 15-20 mins after that another half liter of petrol with 3-5 spoons of oil i personaly used gear which was kept in my car but make sure it is unused and new.mix petrol and oil shake it well in a bottle and apply it on ur car engine it will be like new and will shine like a diamond
(if ur car engine is not extremely dirty then just wash it by petrol with oil mixture ) and u can even apply this at ur home)
ITS NOT necesory to use presure air with 2nd point (oil and petrol) i washed my engine recently pics are coming.
    thankx.
the first 4 pics are after engine is washed and the 1pic is before the wash just check the diffrnce...

Not just petrol he also said "3-5 spoons of oil i personaly used gear". I think he means use gear oil along with petrol.

I Wish Rubber Parts And hoses won't get damaged or deteriorate with this desi trick....!!

using anything like petrol diesel is not recommended........its not good for rubber parts , wiring , sensors and other plastic items most of cars now have...

simply clean with controlled pressure air and then detail it with hands....!!

This Will Also Caught Dirt Again As You Drive In No Time...

good work but why use oil/surf/petrol ? plastics makes plastic dry and has chemical and what not and besides its purpose is not to wash your car
    petrol is highly flammable
oil damages rubber parts and makes the engine sticky and attracts a lot of dirt so why use these its like using cooking oil as a replacement to engine oil
also remember not use pressure water for cleaning your cars engine it could damage wiring and sensors the service station wala doesnt care for your car he just does it for the 300-400 RS
why not use purpose built products for doing the job right ?
use some car shampoo/de-greaser and some trim polish or dressing you'll be amazed to see the outcome

that is called lack of awareness. petrol/diesel/kerosene can cause cv joint boots to harden and crack, plastic engine covers to stain and paint to dull

^I strongly agree. While fuel is a great source of strong chemical cleaners, the negative points outweigh the positive ones and should never be used as a cleaner for delicate processes like cleaning engine bays. Some people learn the hard way later on so i'll advise you to stick with products made for cleaning bays like engine degreasing sprays and APC.

I would get a soap and some water to clean that oil off the rubber parts asap, the oils you just lovingly massaged into them will eat the rubber till they are mush.
