there aren't cng issues with newer model, actually it runs better on cng because regular petrol isnt of good quality here, u need to mix hi octane with it to avoid knocking. while cng already has a higher octane number than petrol.

The 2009 works even better on CNG with more power and automatic also works on CNG with higher fuel economy.

2009 City has better road grip, better engine, better interior room front and rear and AC performance, better suspensions and even bigger trunk.

The only downgrade is the interior quality if you can live up with it.

A good car 2009 City M/T would cost you around 1.1M and Auto 1.2M PKR.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

Do not think of upgrading to the new city. The one you are having is better in all aspects maybe not looks. The new city has a poor suspension. And seats are not as comfortable as the old one.
I have both 2006 vario and 2009 AT at home. I love the old one n just came back from Lahore after a very pleasant trip. The new one just looks better and has a better consumption of the two. You ll like the engine of the new which is a great improvement over the old one but you ll hate its suspension.
I am so tired of the suspension of the new one that I am thinking of getting rid of it.

Its human's psyche to go for a change with the passage of time. Some people spend their entire life with one thing and some continue to progress. I have even heard people say I have 1Million in my account but I wont replace my mehran 1992 model because money provides warmth to them but again it varies from person to person. So now lets come to the point, reasons:
2010 has ABS, Better looks, Better fuel consumption and it is much more powerful than the previous one. These were the reasons given to be understood by a layman but to me ABS is having the most importance. If an ABS saves me from an accident which it has twice then I think I have made the right choice.

    Hope this comment helps you.

i dont think so, unless someone can experiment with changing of shocks / springs with that of other cars. this car also feels weightless as compared to the old. not that i hate that feeling. i only wish that it had a softer suspension.

Vario shape city has not very good brakes only good for 80-100 km/hr and the brake distribution is also not effective I have seen these cars spinning often. I myself spin it in last years rains.

Yesterday I saw a girl in white Vario span her car at Sharah-e-Faisal while making emergency brakes to prevent collision with a rackshaw coming wrong side.
