    Default Honda

I am looking to replace my 2003 Civic - Cat Eye Prosmetic UG with a newer model (not brand new). Any advice which model/year is going to give me the least headache with enough safety features etc ...?

Well it would greatly depend upon the $$ u reserve for your new ride. 1st Estimate how much $ you are going to spend by selling this car & adding more, then the Cars can be advised to you.

budget is flexible. I just dont want to buy a new car ..

    the few requirements are

    1. Automatic
    2. Safety Features
    3. Less number of visits to workshop.

Thank you for your suggestions. I would prefer a Civic and don't really want the new one.. I will check out the reborn s. I am not sure if I should start a new thread but there is another twist would like experienced people to comment on the following

Civic Vs Premio 2004 or Camry 2005-2007

Which one would you recommend and why ?

Your comparison doesn't make sense to me. 2004 premio is an old car. The price bracket is a little lower than reborn 2011.
2005 Camry is old shape and 2006 is new shape. There's hell of a difference between both shapes. Price difference is also huge.
Civic cannot be compared with a Camry. Camry is more comfortable, pricey, bigger engine and different league.
2011 oriel prosmatec will cost 18-19 lacs whereas 2006 premio will cost 28+

I know the comparison is bit off.

Basically here is what i am thinking ..

Should i spend the money let say 15-20 lacs on a newer model civic or an older model bigger car like Camry or Premio. ( I cant afford the newer models of Camry or Premio)

Brother one thing which maybe good or bad is that 75% new cars (Less than 5 year old) which are on sell on PW are from showrooms and do not reflect the true price.

Brother u have to strike a balance here between What u can buy and maintain.
You can even buy a W140 for less than 2 million in your budget but you cannot expect it to run on rs 200 guard filter or 1,000 rs of regular petrol
That is where the civic excels it does not pretend to be a lion in sheeps clothing
Camry Premio etc are pseudo executive sedans they are only as executive as our car mechanics are

you are asking 1300000 for 2010 if some one other want to sale n asking 1650000 for your own 2011 60K driven with touchings, n female used cars are abused cars its a -ve point not +ve, thats not fair guidance, be realistic n honest when you are guiding some one.

Although I agree with your comments about the cars except this portion "thats not fair guidance guidance, be realistic n honest when you are guiding some one". Just a friendly advice. Your post would have sounded much better with a different choice of words.

There is no need to be confrontational and judgemental. If you don't agree with something just point it out and give the person a chance to explain himself.

    camry 2005 is for 1.5M
    2006 is for 2.8M
    Premio 2004-2005 is for 1.3-1.5M
Premio 2007 is around 1.7M mark

If you can afford the fuel, camry is a good car to keep. I have had a 2005.

Premio is an OK car because there is nothing fancy in that car. Mileage is better than civic and camry both.

all 3 brands are not going to take you to workshops frequently. spares cost more or less the same
