    Default Electric Car Import in Pakistan

    Salam,

    I need some information about the Electric car import policy to Pakistan. I there is 100% electric car then what is the policy to import the car and what would be charges to import. I want to send Nissan Leaf from UK to Pakistan. It 100 % electric.

    Expert opinion please........

    Aoa, There is no specific policy for electric car. Most probably it will be classified as hybrid by custom.

    and below 1200cc is 0% duty if I remember correctly, so engineless 0cc electric comes in for free!

    It's not suited for Pakistani weather conditions and obviously, it needs CHARGING from electricity. And half of time in Pakistan there's no electricity.
