I have a ELM327 Bluetooth connected to my Civic. I have no issues connecting it to a Bluetooth Android Phone or my laptop. But I am not sure which program is good and what parameters to Monitor. Please guide me and let me know what benefits can i get from my OBD scanner.
There is an app called Torque. Have you tried that?I don't know what's the use of an obd2 scanner for a normal car owner other than identifying fault codes, if there are any.
this will help you https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.prowl.torque
I don't have any fault codes. I was just wondering if there are any recommended or Optimal number . I should be looking for like if the Temp is showing between x-7 then you should replace the coolant but if its showing a-b then no need to do anything. etc etc ...
Can anyone tell me how I can view the fuel average in the Torque application ?Also has anyone tried logging ?
Also does anyone know how about setting up vehicle profile in Torque for Honda Civic 8th gen ?
