    yes I have been searching too since more than a month

    what is your choice?
    1. local assembled
    2. jdm import

    if local assembled is fine with you then go for new mehran

    if you want jdm then you cannot find a good without work jdm in this range (1000 cc)

    Mehran is dabba with all due respect so absolutely no to it!
    My regular run is around 40kms so I guess fuel efficiency is the only concern other than this I just want a decent car

    in this range the JDM will have issues in engine (90-95% chance)

    in my opinion get a Honda City iDSI 2006 2007 (vario or manual)

    its a 1300 CC with good fuel consumption

    I think the mileage is about 12-13 Km/litre

    Spare might be a little expensive but you don't need to replace anything frequently like any other Pak Suzuki car

    So now we have some clarity! You want a car which is fuel economical and does not hit the pocket hard when it comes to maintenance. Well then toyota is the way to go. However a main issue is the fact that you are not likely to find a clean Corolla in that price range. A molested 04-05 model xli perhaps.

    Why not look for a Cuore, Alto or Cultus. They are decent enough cars and you can find an extra clean car well within your budget. Maintenance costs are relatively low. Fuel economy of all these cars is pretty good as well.

    I have been driving Indus Corolla and hence Alto or Cuore 's drive is not comfortable for me, what about 05-06 City iDSI like everyone else suggested?

    Maintenance costs for a Honda is high my friend. Which is why I suggested the above. But if you're considering the Honda, you should also keep an eye out for the following:

    1. 99-00 Civic vti manual. A clean car fits well within your budget costing you about 585k to 625k. Average is decent (I bought a 96 exi recently and got 9 kmpl in the city no issues - vti's mileage is better).
    2. 01-02 Civic vti (the first of the prosmatec). Manual or auto can be your call. Should cost you about 675k to 735k.

    Also an option, though it is not usually a good idea to have multiple cars of the same model, but since you have an indus and it doesn't give you any issues, you could get another indus 99-00 model.

    1= 1.3 idsi manual 03-05
    2= santro 08-09
    3= cultus 08
    as you are in khi, from my side these are recommended for you, pay 7-7.5 for these cars if cars are fully functional n in outstanding condition.
