    Default advice for dummy

Hi! Pakwheelers . 1st my brief history. My first ride was Mehran 2006 which I kept for few months in 2011 and bought 2008 ego cultus n still driving it. I was novice. So learned proper driving and maintenance on this ..stimes in hardways. Anyways it never gave any major problems . Though I gave it due to inexperience.
However now I wanna step ahead. But am confused whether to keep going with it or move. I ll have budget of about 800k to 900k if I sell cultus ( after adding some savings) .
    Should I sell cultus 2008?.
    If yes what next?
I ve small family ( main biwi Aur 1 bacha )
I want reliable , easy to maintain, tension free machine
What about Honda city or swift on lease. Or should I opt for idsi 05-07..to learn to drive sedan first ?

Don't fall into this JDM trap, you need good knowledge about cars before taking that risk. I have seen how JDM's are being re-built i.e given another life.

Get a brand new car- Swift is a great car!
Again, just do Istikhaarah and leave matters in the hands of God almighty!

Check this thread out, I was amazed to see how they would make this car, road worthy again!

Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

I ve been witnessing jdm vs pkdm debate for last few days since joining pkwheels.lol
I don't believe in labelling or stereotyping people or vehicles !
I think many factors influence our decision making including our personality , own cars etc.
My cultus 08 did not broke down or dissertrd me on-the-road . But it has crossed 1 lac km milage recently . I ve replaced its water pump, timing belt, bearing as preventive step.
I fear I would have to do other measures e.g. brake / gear oils, radiator wash, ac work , brake pads etc as preventive measures . And bumper paints n minor touchings. I assuming it ll cost me around 15 to 20 k . Is it worth it ?

And I have figured out that I can't take risk of buying jdm at this point in my life. Though inshallah in future , Allah ll enable me to take such risk. So the choice is between swift and city..2day a friend who owns swift 2012, advised me to wait for 1 to 2 year, and then buy brand new Honda city ivtec on installment with 9 lac down payment and 3 year schedule..wt do u think?
