    Default Audi A4 opinion?

So.....the new(current) shape Audi A4, is it good in terms of reliability etc....?

And any idea how much for a decent 2014 import 2011 model 1.8TFSI from uk ? Is it possible for say 4 million ?

    Or is C180/200 etc better?

C180/C200 is pretty common now on roads. On the other hand wow factor of audi is more because it is not that much common. However in terms of reliability and resale, merc is surely better.
Don't know about price. @CrashD can guide you better on this.

I was talking of the 1.8. Can't afford the 200% duties on 1800cc+ cars.

For starters getting into a new luxury brand. Get newly released A3 sedan. Price point.. lower than A4.

duties are 200% on cars that have more than 1800cc. I can only afford the 1800cc car, not the 2000cc.

How much is the brand new? anyone have any idea? Is it around 50-60lacs?

looks nice...But kind of small...A4 is bigger. Although with the 1.4l engine in A3, customs will be even lower...

Bro that 1.4L Turbo can do wonders. The gearbox is bloody fantastic!
I sat in an Audi A1 recently with the same 1.4T engine. It's a great machine.
I'm sure it'll perform equally well in an A3.

I've read about the engine specs...It's a lot of power for such a small engine...

But the thing is that I like the A4 looks and its bigger too...So if only A4 would start coming with the 1.4 which I think will never happen...

its comes with 1.8L TSI FWD or 2L TSI Quattro for US market. excellent car and it doesn't feel that tight in the back seat. with 4.5 Million price tag of Prius.. the 1.4 L UK spec A3 sedan will be worth of money. With 1.4L , I am sure it will be much economical as well. Again not sure what will be price in Pakistan but it will be much lower than A4. I covered local launch. lots of pictures https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/coo...rage-pakwheels

audis are nice - the problem you will face in Pakistan is repairing them, I was contacted via PW for helping out some workshop in Lahore which were replacing the turbos on some LHD Audi A6 they had in the shop.

When I asked for video or pictures, they showed me a horror story, the shops mechanics (all 5 plus helper) took 2 days to extract the engine from the car leaving the transmission in palce. and took apart literally everything in disconecting it. That is the wrong way to service an Audi.

The correct way was to put it into service position aka remove whole front of car (nose clip) raise on lift, shove cart under it, lower car on cart, unbolt subframe, exhaust downpipes, HVAC connections (A/C) power steering lines, electric harnesses and lift body - the whole shabbang including the suspension and driveline then is there for you to work on. It takes approximately 5 hours for such work for 1 person instead of 6x16 hours (6 peeople times 2x8 hour days).
