Default transporting car via private truck

i want to transport my pajero mini from islamabad to lahore.
wanted to know whether small trucks such as mazda do it and is it safe.
what is the best possible way to transport it and how will it be loaded and unloaded from the truck.
    what precautions should i take

    Regards

thanks for quick reply, the car is mechanically sound and does 80 km/h without stress probably could do more if pushed but another two cars already have to be taken by motorway and taking three cars together is not a option plus i don't trust anyone with it to drive it, is there a place in rawalpindi where it can be loaded easily, or what about these flatbead tow trucks like from EVAC do they transport cars city to city

u may go to tarnol dry port area
all big carrier trucks would be around(just have to go ask around).........trucks go back empty from that point

squeezing and experimenting in regular trucks would be quiet risky.

yeah but i don't want to hand over the keys. maybe i am thinking either find a mazda and some safe way of loading unloading it maybe use a forklift or travel in a convoy on motorway and just drive it there. thanks for everybody's help

I remember seeing a potohar on a shezore. the car was closely packed and was getting scratches and dents from the movement of the truck.
So sending it on a truck would be a bad idea.

    Lightbulb drive...

If you insist on taking it on a truck then the Tarnol area has dirt slopes which have been made by truckers to load cars onto normal truck. Forklifts can damage the sides or undercarriage of the vehicle so the fork lift operator has to be an expert. Just be careful that the vehicle is properly secured and not moving around in the truck. I think it should reach Lahore safely. But for such a short trip, driving is the best way to move any vehicle. Inexpensive and safer.

so from what i gather driving it is best or sending it through a transporter truck at tarnol. ill prefer driving then as its short distance plus i also have to load it with car parts as i am shifting and can't do that if sending it through a transporter in tarnol. plus in the unlikey event of any mechanical problem i could probably fix it for less than it would cost to transport. plus car has been maintained like a queen and detailed and all so scratches are big no. thats the only reason bit touchy about letting the car out of sight :p probably will travel in a convoy on the motorway and maybe send the car one hour ahead. thanks everybody for all your help

it has been finalised car will be driven along gt road following a truck in which our home stuff will be shifted. this way they will travel together at moderate speed and should reach safe and sound insha allah without any issue.
