Question Help in deciding Coure vs Alto

I want to go for a small-body car like Coure and Alto. Three main reasons for going for these cars are my low budget, my congested area and good fuel economy.

Kindly suggest me which one of these cars is better. Let me also know pros and cons of these both cars.

    Thanks in advance.

mujhe ek chote model ki car chaiye because I live in old Lahore with narrow streets and roads so i want to avoid larger built cars. anyways mujhe Santro main bhi koi issue nahi kyu k zada wide nahi hoti wo. Joy ka nahi pata mujhe.

Can you tell me about these two cars ? how much CC they have and which is wider and which has good economy

Joy is very compact unlike santro. It is very easy to handle and also has power steering and power windows it came in two versions 800cc korean assembled tilll 2005 and 1000cc local assembled till 2009 both are efi and are good on fuel.

consider chery qq also if u decide to think about joy, it is easy to maintain in lahore, i think u can get brand new for around 9(if it is still in production) and i know someone who uses a qq very roughly and is satisfied with it, it legspace is awesome compared to its size and also coure is non efi but unlike suzuki's its carb, intake system doesn't let u feel that u r driving a carby car.

Bro please dont mind but i think spending 9 lacs on cherry qq,Santro or chevy is just like throwing ur money in the well. These cars are awesome, have all the goodies and are best for there price tag but there is no resale. I dont think anyone would buy a Santro for 10 lacs or Cherry for 8 lacs. These cars failed miserably.
But it is best to buy them as used as they are very cheap and one can get them under 5 lacs and wont bear much loss while selling.

u cant consider it a loss if u use a brand new car for 5+ years and sell it around 50% of its brand new price..... but yes keeping resale in mind(since a car is more of an investment rather than an asset for us) buying a used one is a better choice.
but a brand new chery a lot better than a brand new cultus if value for money is considered, and it is coming from a cultus, khyber fanboy who does not like the sitting position of new city cars like qq, joy, santro.

i have a coure 2012 model (maybe from the last stock of its production), it is 73k driven in 2 years. sometime i have to face problems for starting it on cng but a mechanic from toyota central motors said that it is because of a shortage of current supply in the car as i have installed snail horns+tracker+central key lock system+extra speakers. its maintenance is little bit expensive as i prefer company maintenance. its drive is super and its size is really compact. this car is built for karachi roads.

    pros for cuore:
    good drive
    company fitted ac
    company fitted cng kit
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (not available in ALTO)
130+km on cng tank (without ac, city drive)
110+km on cng tank (with ac, city drive)
good road grip even at 100+km/h (installed bridgestone tyres)
good resale (purchased it for 885k and got an offer from a showroom owner of 800k 2 months back even after an accident)

    cons
    bit expensive maintenance
    abra-ca-dab-ra........!

I do agree about the sitting position, i have owned 3 chevies and they were awesome in every aspect, smooth gear shifting, powerful brakes, very speedy, currently owning a Vitz but still i miss my chevy

Gentleman I have been a satisfied user of cuore, let me compare it with alto. Or even with santro all three cars are discontinued spare parts should be considered before making final decision. Plus point with cuore is that its more comfortable and easy ride than alto and when ever you want to spice up your ride you can go for bolt on parts of jdm mira. Bought front shocks of mira that made my ride really comforty in just 2200 in 2011 still these shocks are on and doing really good.

and as far as santro and alto are concerned both are 1000 CC cars what i reckon is that you are going to use your car within city mostly and cuore being a 850 CC gives a better milage.

If you want to get a cuore in 500 ks your can get a decent 06 - 07 model and life is just chill. Believe me you wont regret your decision.

Problem occurs when we go for a high maintenance and high cost vehicle. I saw a customer at mechanic today he had an Toyota SE Saloon 04 - 05 model and guess what he was hassling over the price of front wheel bearing and in the end he went for chna made bearing. What is use of keeping a vehicle if you cannot maintain it in a decent way.

If i were to buy a second hand car i would buy some thing that i can keep maintain and drive also. As far as i kept cuore i never waited in the line of CNGs when it was easily available i got it otherwise i drove it on petrol.
