Default Advice Needed on which Hatchback to buy

So I'm in the market for a new hatchback and would like to take advantage of the collective wisdom of the group.

There are basically three choices that I have: Suzuki Swift, Toyota Vitz, or the Toyota Passo.

If there are other options please let me know; but given those choices, which car would you guys go for.

    You didn't mention models.

I would go for the facelift Passo because it offers best fuel consumption. Even if you're Talking about the old shape, that car's consumption is Just as good as Vitz and i would still Recommend that because it's seats are more comfortable.

Second option would be Vitz owing to good resale.

The only Benefits ov Swift are guaranteed Spares and Service From Suzuki's 3S Dealerships and a teeny weeny bit ov extra trunk space Otherwise it Lacks Leg space and Door space and its seats are uncomfortable for adults on Long Journeys.

^^ you didn't mention looks, in which case the Swift is, in my humble opinion, the clear winner. The Vitz looks a bit like a cockroach. The Passo, what I can say, it doesn't look anything to be honest. It's just too boring. Looks like a car driven by someone who knits.

I asked myself the same question little more than a year ago. I went for the swift because of availability of stick shift, more responsive engine compared to the eco-boost washing machines present in the other two choices and better overall looks and stance. As for mileage, the manual swift gives me 12-13 kmpl when driven under 3k rpm, i dont think vitz does a lot better than that

Low ground clearance gets easily fine by changing tyre and if not tyres then by spacers, so forget that.

Low resale? Do you know that just like people earn premiums by early booking and then selling these corollas etc, just like this people import jdms use them, register them and sell them on profits too (NOT TALKING ABOUT DEALERS) and ofcourse the cars that are particularly hot cakes in the market. Someone has probably misguided you.

About parts, yes very expensive but available in the market untill and unless you buy some 80's model car that can surely give you headaches on parts.

Go for 4 cylinder vitz, its road grip , drive, interior quality is excellent.

Mileage of swift n vitz equal, passo wins.
Looks of swift n vitz almost same, passo nowhere.
Quality of vitz n passo is aala, swift is suzuki n local.
Spare parts little expensive n less availability for vitz n passo while its easily available for swift(they are also not cheap).

    Choice is urs dude!!!
