Default Help required regarding selection of vehicle

    Dear Friends,
I am seeking suggestions regarding purchase of a sedan car, right now I am driving a Cultus. Following cars are under consideration, whereas my budget is from 7 to 7.5 lacs.

    1- Suzuki Baleno (Model 2004-5)
    2- Honda City (Model 2000-2)
    3- Honda Civic (Model 1999-2000)
    4- Toyota Corrolla (Model 1998-2001)

Thanks in advance for your valuable input and advice. I'll appreciate if you also quote the reasons to justify your suggestion.

    Regards

Never go for any abused or cheap lancer.
Very expensive parts and lack of mechanical or electical support available.

finding an acceptable vehicle with genuine mileage and flawless papers is bit time consuming but not impossible, check weekend english newspaper's classified sections and you may hit a diamond

my friend i suggest you buy the car for yourself and not for the next owner. thinking of resale of a car before even buying is a bit eh. i have noticed that people who buy a lancer tend to keep it for long periods of time. think of it this way. you are paying around 7.5k for a lancer which is cheaper than what you will pay for a city. you are saving money there. then when you sell it, it will still sell for around the same price. so basically having no resale here in pakistan means that you will not be able to sell it at a price higher than what you bought it for.

the reason parts are thought to be expensive is because they are genuine parts. and even then there is a misconception. i just got brake shoes of my lancer replaced and they were cheaper than a baleno's.
