I'm looking for the whole car, as alot of things are going wrong due to their age, and as this is a daily driver I cant afford to spend days finding parts for it. The major things which are giving signs of failing are:
    The steering column.
Transmission and differential (both factory fitted, never rebuilt)
    Brakes are a bit uneven.

I may change the transmission and diff if I can find one in good condition.

All parts are already available in market both new and used.

Parts are available in market. But to buy a whole car for this purpose is not a wise decision.

I know that New and used parts are available but new ones are Chinese and don't work. I had the rear suspension rubber bushing replaced for about 15K, by new ones which lasted a week on smooth roads. Used genuine parts are much harder to find. I went in search of a full set of lights and found some used taillights in good condition, the shop-owner demanded 40,000 for two lights due to their rarity.

So hence if I get a whole car I would spend less overall than buying new or used ones if something goes wrong

I have found two cars in Australia in this color and year. Now I was hoping to get some info on how can I import one of those car solely for the purpose of parts, or I could find one here.

ncp is possible since you won't be driving the donor car, better keep it out of punjab.

Saudia is full of cars like these, if you have any links import from there they have each and every thing for cressida. Saudi yards are full of cressida and camry parts.

Thats the thing, I know aftermarket parts are available but the ones here are utter crap, the dont work!

I had the bushings replaced for the whole suspension and they lasted 3 weeks whereas the genuine factory ones which took quite a serious beating by going offroad lasted 22 years!. The good parts available are in the US and importing them is a nightmare and expensive. That is why I;m searching for a whole donor car

The ones in Saudia are left hand drive whereas I need right hand drive. I've already found one in australia which has done 140K kms and is in immaculate condition for a very good price. I wont be using the engine so that would be sold in Australia. I need to know what is the duty on importing the whole car in the form of cuts? or can it be imported as a whole without engine and transmission

this cressida has multi link rear setup - the bushing installation in those have a special procedure for tightening and torquing - its not simply press bush and tighten the bolts/nuts - did the mechanic level the hub to ride height before tightening?
