    Question Help me selecting 1 from these 3 (Civic05 , City08 , Swift12)

Hi, as the title says, i want to buy a car and these 3 cars fall in my budget,

    > Civic-05 (VTi oriel / VTi oriel prosmatic)
    > City-08 (iDsi / vario)
    > Swift-12 (1.3DLX)

please help me, I really want to buy civic but I'm confused bcz it'll be a 9 year old car, more than 100k driven and i don't want to visit my mechanic daily.

Please keep in mind these points while suggesting:
    1) Comfort
    2) Easy maintenance
    3) Only Petrol
    4) Fuel consumption 11-12 km/l is okay for me
    5) Resale and Trunk space is not an issue for me

Waiting for your replies, those who own any one of them please share your experiences too. and yes one more thing please quote the price range of your suggested car.
    Thanks in advance.

Keeping in view your requirements, i would go for a swift 12 model eyes closed. A 9 years used car is a 9 years used car (speaking from personal experience). No matter how good it looks initially there will always be bits that will need the mechanic's attention, on a weekly basis almost.

Go for swift. Civic (eagle eye) is known for giving bad mileage on petrol.

if u can find an eagle eye civic in top notch condition..well maintained with complete service history....then absolutely go for it..regarding mileage i have had an opposite experience with my civic exi Manual..it gives around 11 with ac in lahore traffic if u dun drive like a maniac...
on a recent trip to isb via gt road i got 16.7kmpl without ac at speeds between 80 to 90 kmph..calculated via refuelling to the brim 4 times..well no body wud believe.

If you it for your family than you'll require a large boot space, then its better to buy a sedan but if you have a small family or you just want a car for yourself and which fun to drive than swift is the one

if u drive with a light foot with ur car properly tuned it will give 11 with ac .
I have early 2006 eagle eye 115k kms driven and the only thing that has been changed in the car till date were the Lower Control Arm bushings at 95k kms..dats it!!! n mind u this car is not really pampered..it has to make frequent outstation journeys to cities like sahewal, islamabad, gujranwala and faislabad...
the bottom line is this car is durable and last a long ... u should go for it unless unless u find one with complete service history!!

Have got Swift. I'd say keep it out of your list.

And Civic is Civic. It's a proper heavy sedan. And would give you a true driving pleasure.

And remember not every car of model 2005/06 would make you visit mechanics every month. All you need to do is just make necessary replacements with initial costs and youre good to go, be it Civic or City. City is also fun to drive, had it and sold it two years back 07 model.

I personally like Civic eagle eye shaped 2005-2006. But if you go for it, these are mostly abused in karachi, try to go for a prestine conditioned one.
    Best of luck!
