It does not lag like vitz and the ride seems to be pretty much decent for a 1.0.
    No knocking or vibration issues

Belta 1.0 is a sluggish car to drive. It's the sedan version of Vitz.
It has the same engine as Vitz, so when Vitz 1.0 is underpowered the Belta would be way too underpowered!
    Belta spares are easily available!

Swift JDM is one hell of a car. I will only suggest you It If you're self Importing or getting through a reliable dealer like @sharbhi.
You would have no problems with It's spares since you'll get them from PS.
Swift is just like a pocket monster!

    Go for Swift 2007!
You would love power of Swift and the quality of JDM's plus better spare availability as compared to Vitz.
You have already kept Vitz and you know that It's underpowered!

Belta 1.3 is worth it, if it's a liter one, get a Swift.
Turbo lag is like foreplay. You know it's coming. And it's gonna be good.

Belta 1.3 is way better than swift. Acceleration is not everything in life neither touching 180 on the meter. Belta is a family car with a very good petrol average. As for swift its a hatch back and m pretty sure that its average is less than a belta. Rest plus point of swift will be that u hav a pkdm version and parts are available at a cheaper price.

im also confuse. im getting belta 1.0, im not a racer nor i drive fast, my monthly drive is 450 to 500 KM. and what i heard is it gave 11 to 12 KM a ltr Avg (petrol). Cultus, Vitz 2001 onwards, Alto all are 1000 cc cars. i didnt understand what underpower means (racers can feel its underpowered). in karachi city and the roads u cannnot go up to 150 KM,my drive is mostly at 60 to 80 Km. should i opt for Belta 2007, reg. 2010. neat n clean home driven 75K on Odo. the car will have poor pick. That is for example in aga khan road, you hit the brakes for some reason at 60-70km/hr. Then the car will gain back its speed in some time not quickly. You will feel it when you experience that.

Since in Karachi, you have to hit the brakes very often and the speed goes down, hence you ll feel this underpower thing a lot. You will feel as if your car is lazy and has no power(jaan).

But if you are at shahrah e faisal or something and speed is constant you wont feel much.

Recently, I have bought vitz 1000cc Alhamdulillah. And I am happy with it. Its pick is average but again I am not that kind of a driver. I can withstand some cons with all the pros it has to offer. Belta I assume will be more sluggish due to the fact that it has a much heavier body.

One more thing, Vitz/Belta 1000cc will have an annoying engine sound too. So you better test drive a car and see if you can withstand that noise.

These cars also have engine knocking issue due to poor quality petrol, hence you will have to fill up high octane(premium) petrol is some quantity too. Like I get 10 litres high octane and 30 litres super. So add that cost too. Knocking otherwise will be very annoying and will cause damage too.

Personally I would say, search for a 1300cc version in either belta/vitz. You wont face any issues.
