Default Quick car washing and detailing tips needed.

    Salaam.
My question is for the detailing experts here.
The car in discussion is a 2010 Toyota Prius, Barcelona Red color.
As you guys know that red is a sensitive color and needs more care than the others, I want a little help here.
I wash my car at weekends and get it detailed as well but the problem is during the week.
As the car is a daily driver so a lot of dust accumulates on it during bad weather and due to the Khadim-e-Aala's beloved METRO BUS project which has tore apart the entire city.
Now what do I do to quickly get it cleaned within the week in the shortest time possible WITHOUT harming it in any way? I don't take it to service stations, prefer getting it washed at home with utmost care possible.
I have a lot of Meguiars detailing stuff but detailing takes place on weekend or alternate weekend.
    Suggestions needed.
    8th Gen Mitsubishi Lancer 1.3 GLX 2006; 3rd Gen Toyota Prius 1.8 S-Touring 2010; 11th Gen Toyota Corolla 1.3 GLi AT 2014.

Red is a treat to detail.
Buy a bottle of turtle rinsefree wash. Add two caps to a spray bottle filled with water. Spray the solution and completely saturate the surface. Then wipe off.

I do the same and I usually wax every 2-3weeks. The car is washed twice a week with a pressure washer including the tires and rims and the car is cleaned daily with turtle rinse free. It has autofinesse powerseal protecting it. Detaiker wipes are usually given 2-3 times a week. Also use a gentle shampoo like meguiars hyper wash.

This is a regime for my car. I personally like this one but you can personalise it to your needs and wants.

    Happy detailing

First of all buy a good detailer spray so that car surface should not attract dust. Thus more surface protection.

Secondly get the surface swirl free. Carbohraphics in islamabad is doing a wonderful job. What my opinion in keeping the car clean and glossy is base should be swirl free and then you maintain it using proper nourishing methods.
Use microfiber cloths for shampooing and dewaxing, and obviously no dry dusting.

Yes a red car is a treat to detail indeed! see my avatar pic this shine was the result of a 5 hours detailing session at home for a car show, pic has very little editing.
As for the pressure washer, you have it at home or go to service station? If at home for how much did you buy the pressure washer?
My issue is that my university is resuming in two weeks, and within the week at least I will need to get the car cleaned as fast as possible.

I have the Meguiars Quik Detailer with me, is there any other I need to buy?
Should I get a complete detailing and lamination session from Carbographics so that in future only little effort is required?
I use nothing but microfibre cloths on the car and I will die but won't dry dust the car.
Can you elaborate more on dewaxing?

I used to go to the service station for undercarriage washes on my cuore. Now i have a karcher pressure washer at home which saves water alot and gets work done in half the time. You can find it in metro for around 11k.
I can relate to the time factor. This is why i wash my car 2 times a week and in between i give waterless washes.

Is the pressure washer you mentioned suitable for uppet body as well other than the undercarriage?
And what exactly do you mean by waterless washes?

Yes it somes with two nozzles. One is gentle for the paintwork and the other one is very powerful and is to be used on the undercarriage.

Waterless washing is basically where you have a solution of rinseless wash in a spray bottle. You saturate the surface and wipe off with a clean mf folded in fours. Wallah, that panel is washed.

Same thing like a normal wash except you dont need a hose.
Start washing the car and once youre done woth half of it, dry it. Its pretty simple.

    Use car shampoo
And never wash your car with Surf Ecxel
But seriously don't use it will make the car more dirty and it scratches the car also.

Service station guys use surf and surprisingly no one bats an eye. People turn up in really expensive cars over there.

Rinsefree shampoo actually gives water the ability to lubricate the dirt off the car after encapsulating it.
