Default Sedan between7.0-7.8 Lakhs budget, advise needed!!!!

    - Which Sedan can I get in this budget and its model?
    - Resale is not much issue only if i can get issue free car
    - Interested in City/Civic/Lancer
    - Can I get any Vitz (i know its hatchback, but i like this car ) model in this range?
    - Most important thing is I want hassle/issue free car (I will even consider buying cultus if good sedan is not possible in this budget)

Barely possible. An abused Lancer is a money pit, you can never stop spending on it.

You can, but you have to look hard enough... lancers are vehicles which are rather slow in the market, at times the owners get frustrated and sell at dirt cheap rates just for people to take the vehicles off their hands. And no,that doesn't make it a bad car,its just that people here don't like change, they prefer to stick to the things that has been used throughout...

While buying a car which has after market CNG,please be careful, get the vehicle thoroughly checked.
This is something to justify what I said

I have 1.3. And I have confirmed from various 1.6 owners that it does 10 km/l max.

I would rather suggest to stay miles away from a CNG'ed Lancer. It is nothing but trouble.

Finding a good condition petrol lancer in this budget will be a major challenge. But still possible, just have to stay sharp
1.3 is quite underpowered, I had a 1.6 that did 11 in local and 13 ish in long

    Underpowered? You sure?
It is faster than the previous GLi, faster than all local 1.3 cars except 2009 onwards City. This depends on the car you pick is trash or treasure. I have one since 2006, bought brand new back then. Petrol maintained throughout, 76,000 km on the odo. Not for sale though although received offers of up to 11 lakhs some time back. Many people often approach me to ask that am I willing to sell it the answer is a NO but with a smile

1.3 is not underpowered. Its preety gud bro but if u compare it with 1.6 then mitsubishi has declared it years ago that it has less power due to 300 cc difference

Only suitable car in your budget is Brand new Mehran,Life is BZ and going to mechanic every weekend is not practical.
No trouble free sedan possible in this budget.
Other option would be to get Vitz 2004

never go for liana ,lancer and sunny

If sedan is still preference find reasonable indus corrola under 7 lacs and add 1 lac more for adjsutments

well it depends on your luck if you get your hands on a clean one u wont face much issues but generally hondas are rigid and not prone to mechanical failure provided that regular maintenance is done as per schedule....u can get a honda city in this budget!

I advise that then you buy a 2000 model corolla 2.0D. A good one will be for around 7. Use the rest of the budget to remove the minor flaws.
This vehicle is rugged and economical, easy to maintain too. And one of the most relaible vehicles on the road
