Yeah. There are higher chances Suzuki will stop baking this hot cake known as Cultus in near future. It's been already 16 years this was discontinued in Japan and 13 years in rest of the World. But since Pakistanis are famous for making dubious decisions, it is still the best selling overpriced metal in Pakistan. Rest is your choice what you desire most.

Cultus was due to stop in 2014 but due to high demand Pak Suzuki have extended it to 2015. In comparison the Wagon R has not had a very good start as people still prefer the Cultus over it.
The only feature I liked about the Wagon R was the CD player. Everything felt cheap and the seats were not comfortable.
Buy a cultus before they stop selling it!

You just can't change the Pakistani Mentality.
Pakistani's are orthodox. Making a change in their lives is very very difficult!
How can a outdated car with ****** tech and no safety features be better then a up to date car?

Agreed. The safety features are a lot better than Cultus. I was only focusing on driving dynamics...

WagonR is a new entry and has some more specs than Cultus.
But on the other hand, Cultus looks far more reasonable and enjoys a good resale too, maintenance is cheap as well.
Now before anyone lashes out at me, let me clear you one thing. At present I don't own any of them, and if I have to make a choice I'll go for Cultus or add some more money and self-import a JDM 660 or 1000 cc.
I have used Cultus for a very long time and it's one of my favorite PKDM cars. Use it with care and a brand new vehicle won't trouble you for the next 3 years at least.
I like the JDM version of WagonR, the Indonesian one offered by PakSuzuki failed to impress. Instead of that, add a bit more and get a zero meter Swift DX.

Thank you very much guyss for your valuable suggestions. i think the vote for wagon R are more. i also agreed with the statement that people do not accept change easily.. considering comfort level, new look, k-series engine, power steering, future will be of wagon R.. So i must go for wagon R.
Actually i used to drive khyber for 3-4 years. and khyber and cultus have almost same look with same seating capacity.. there will be no change IMO if i go for cultus..
resale value is of no issue.

Any other suggestions will be highly appreciable.

Wagon shape is not liked by people in Pakistan, Suzuki should have replaced Alto with new Alto K10 or Ritz or celerio. I think they are on a mistake in launching WagonR and sooner they add Ritz or Celerio the better.
In your case WagonR will be better i think.

    Both have pros and cons.

    Cultus

Pros: Better looking shape (even if old), more comfortable, more spacious, good resale, good and cheap parts availability, cheaper and easier maintenance, works excellent on CNG.

Cons: Older technology, no immobilizer, no power windows (but you can get after market).

    WagonR

Pros: technologically more advanced (engine) , standard power windows, better fuel economy (on petrol)
Cons: Smaller in size (less legroom), less comfortable, ugly looking (for most people but thats personal taste), more expensive spares.

    My advice:

WagonR: If you do not have rear passengers (or only kids), drive less and on good roads, and use petrol as a primary fuel.
Cultus: If you have adult rear seat passengers, drive more and long on bumpy roads, are concerned about maintenance and resale, and plan to use CNG.

Also there is a personal choice factor. I do not like small cars.
