Default Budget of 15 lacs and so many concerns

    Dear PW Members,
I have decided to sold me beloved swift 2012 DX.I bought this car brand new and drove almost 50,000 km without any issues.Only reason I am selling is to buy big car to meet family requirements.

I have shortlisted few options and now i need your sincere advice to finalized the purchase.

    1-Civic 2010 -2012 iVtec prosmetic Manual
    2-City 2013 - 2014
    3-Axio/Fielder 2007
    4-Liana brand new

My biggest concern is security , solid drive and quality so put civic on top of list which i believe has immobiliser
secondly if i go for city and add tracker later on would it be sufficient to avoid theft.

kindly recommend which options is best for me as i also wanted trouble free car for next 3-4 years.

    Thanks

I was in a similar situation two months back and went for Honda Fit Shuttle, have a look at the thread I created https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/whe...hybrid-shuttle

Fit Shuttle that I bought is a Station wagon (Like Fielder) and it's more rare, the common Honda Fit is a Hatchback. I would suggest that you take a look at it and have a test drive if possible before you rule it out.

True that, the resale and posts could be a real pain with such cars.

If you can get a clean Axio, you should definitely go for that.

I have heard, )but not sure, and couldn't find on Honda's website) that they have introduced immobilizer in the recent facelift of Honda City, so if that's the case you can consider booking a brand new city.

Civic is the best option if you can afford it. New city has an immobilizer now so you can go for it too. New car is always a good option no hidden surprises!

Correction. New City only has Keyless entry, no immobilizer yet. I agree with you though, City is the best option in this budget. Offers the best features. Resale is also good.

I would suggest Liana. Best Value for money, comfort and space. Comes with immobilizer and not very popular with thieves.

I bought an Rxi FF CNG brand new in 2008 and have driven 125k kms Alhamdolillah. No issues and excellent comfort.

Oh and I forgot to mention that it comes with the same M13 engine as your Swift.
