Default TOYOTA VITZ 2007: Fuel Consumption

Dear Pakwheelers, Assalamoalaikum, I hope all of you would be fine, Insha'Allah.

Could you guys please share the fuel (petrol/gasoline) consumption of TOYOTA Vitz 2007 with stock configuration.

Also, if you guys may share some information that this model of Vitz perform reasonable with CNG setup or not ?

I shall highly appreciate your valuable and authentic information, JazakAllah Kher

My 2007 Vitz 1Kr-Fe 1.0 liter with 116k on the odo (58k I 2012 when it was registered) easily does 18km/litre on M2 while in the cty (Lhr and Isl) I can also manage at least 13-14km/liter with a/c.

    Walaikum Salam,

Well there can be no exact figure that can be quoted since it depends on a lot of factors, but if kept properly vitz is a very fuel efficient car. This post would help you get an idea about why people who keep such cars mostly fail to get the actual output they should have

I have Vitz model 2010. Bought it 40 K driven and till now it has clocked 57 k. Vitz gives me 14 to 15.5 in city driving. 50% Ac. On every top up i get 15 liters of Hi octane and 25 liters of normal petrol.
Original oil and air filter is used from Toyota on every 5000 with Zic 10w 40.

I've got 2006 Vitz 1.3L, I'm just got 15 kmpl in city without AC in current winter. I'm using LiquiMoly 5W30, Ceratec and 30/70 HOBC/Regular.

Previously in summer I got 12~13 kmpl in city with regular petrol & AC.

vitz 1.3 has a better average than 1.0 - the vitz that has noise coming from silencers when you accelerate wont give you more than 11kmpl whereas the ones that have normal sound while accelerating gives about 13kmpl local with ac.

    You are being judgemental.

Am just saying he has not tried that cx that doesnt make sense. Mileage has no affect watsoever by the increase in Octane levels of your fuel.

After Keeping 3 Vitz i would say go for it, its a good car, The Comfort, looks, build quality is excellent, the car is a bit slow though but obviously u wont be using for racing it , But only and only use genuine Toyota Air & Oil Filter or u will have to face very low fuel avg,
Best of Luck in the purchase @khalid7shafqat , bro tell him to only use genuine Toyota Oil and Air Filter, the local one is too thick which obstructs breathing resulting in low fuel avg, and use the thinnest possible oil ie. 5w30 or 5w40,

realistically my drive is around 40kms a day with 20 kms one way, I do push it a little to hard and all my way from defence to SITE is signal/and mostly traffic free the highest average I have managed is 13.8 and on average I get 11.8 km/L. I have driven it for 2 years now purchased it at 63,000 and now its around 95000 kms. Its safe to say it manages 10-13 km/L. With a tameez wali driving the car can manage more. Like our 2002 used to give me nothing more then 10 km/L and it manages 14-15 km/L to my father
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    Bro we have tried everything.
    Original Oil/ Air filters.
Throttle body and spark plugs check
    5w30 oil
    But mileage wont increase :|

    Only things left to do
    Octane mixed with normal petrol
    Injector cleaner
    CAT convertor check up

And m telling him not do it without any professional advice (except for the octane one for which i dont see any benefit)

Nd yes one thing ! he has 185/70/14 dunlop tyres which ofcourse are not recommended.

Hope you guys can help us out

Do you seriously think that with CAT converter, the mileage will be 8Km/liter?? My car's CAT removed inadvertently a few months back but even with CAT the difference was NOT more than 1km/liter. I used to manage 13 - 14km/liter in the city driving easily. Only difference I felt was pickup improved but no noticeable change in fuel consumption.

The three things to do next r very important. Get them done and do use a bit mixture of high octane. Like when u fill the tank full add 10 litres of hobc and rest super. As far as Cat is concerned it is bad for environment but it does have a large affect on mileage and pick . My vitz 2006 had it's cat removed and thr fuel avg was better and pick was great too
