Dear don't think about saving fuel if you are investing such a huge amount. There is no point left purchasing Rs 1.8 mio car and then say i have saved Rs 2000 monthly. People here are spending Rs 2.6 mio on Prius and saying that their car gives 23km/ltr. What the hell is that? You paid Rs 1 mio above Honda City and say that you saved money :). If you can't afford petrol then don't purchase expensive cars. Stick to Honda City and save Rs 200,000 and use this money for refueling for atleast 2 years (2500 litres @ Rs 78). Plus Honda City has everything in it builtin. Honda City gives 3 years (70,000 km) warantee whereas Corolla gives it for 2 years only (40,000 km). Honda City has ABS and no quality issues. I am personally using it for 8 months and have driven more than 16,000 km. Excellent road grip, acceleration (no comparison), road clearance is excellent (makes little problem if 5 people on board - but u can install new tyres 195 size to mitigate it). Honda City is mature model with all problems resolved, whereas Corolla will takes 3 years to perfect its new car. Plus new car means new problems, nothing is perfect especially in Pakistan. Rest is upto u.
