Question Wagonr R, Mira or Alto?

I am looking to buy one of these cras: Wagon R, Alto 600 or Mira 660. I am not looking to spend more than 9 lac rupees.
Initially I got some interest in Wagon R, but then read some views and learnt that it is going flop in our market and the cheapest model comes without AC and power steering. I was preferring Wagon R as it is 1000cc and since I have to frequently travel on motorway a 1000cc will be better option than 660cc.

I would appreciate if users of 660cc cars share their experience with Alto and Mira, especially about its performance on motorway. I intend to keep the car for at least 5 years so I fear that a 660cc engine may wear out too soon because of M2 travel??

No worries about AC in summer, in low gears or motorway? How come a small displacement engine performs good in tough conditions? That's the only main concern..

Go for any good 1ltr engine car. 660 is good for city use or off and on long route.

i'd suggest u wagon r vxr its ex factory priced is 9,59,000 now with on road price of 10,10,000. 660cc's need to be driven at high rpm to maintain a decent highway speed(cvt versions too because low rpm torque isn't enough to maintain speeds above 80) which results in increased wear and tear.

In around 10 lacs you can get a car thats runs fine on petrol with 15+km/l within city and 18+km/l on highway, CNG and LPG can be installed, can acheive speed of 160km/hr. Has superb ac, low cabin noise, ample leg room/head room. Only drawback is the shape but i think looks can be improved with rims and backspoiler. And here people are only bashing it due to its shape. In india Wagon R is 4th highest sellin car in year 2012-2014, pakistani Wagon r is same, same engine and same body just some minor differences. You can visit Wagon R owner club, not a sigle owner is dissatisfied with his ride overall, but are little upset on price drop :p

Now i dont hate japanese car their built quality cant be matched but this quality comes with more price which is parts and maintenance plus the kilomters car has run already.

I would suggest you to inspect Japanese alto and pkdm Wagon R, test drive both, check the material quality and drive then take a decision. Good luck.
