    Later passo, Swift, City
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

If you need one for driving within the city, Mira would be the best bet, it's fuel consumption is unmatchable. Swift on the other hand, is no doubt one of the best pakistan assembled cars but can't match the build quality of a JDM vehicle.

fuel economy + space - probs of being old= City 2006
fuel economy + easy to drive - quite expensive parts - probs of being JDM = mira 2011
Wanna Feel young - probs of being a suzuki = Swift

My vote goes for SWIFT ... swift is far better option though it cannot match the fuel economy of city or mira but properly installed landi renzo CNG work fine on swift.. it is a car that is good equally for highways as well as city driving.

Thank you all for your suggestions. It seems that Swift is the better choice according to the consensus.

I currently drive a Hyundai Santro which is giving me ~13-14 kmpl. I drive an average distance of 75 km per day (F6 - Isb Highway - Bahria). My only concern with Swift is its mileage. Can anyone give me a idea how much it gives exactly? Thank you

City, Swift and Mira are three different categories and your decision should be based on your own needs and preferences. A good, brief analysis is provided by a fellow 'aa1oas' in above posts but since you are in Rwp/Isb so ignore the CNG option. When you talk about fuel economy, Swift is not a good choice when comparing to City iDSI, which can easily give you a milage of more than 16 KM/L in your route (I have no idea about Mira). By the way, you can find a good City iDSI (2006-07) model in your budget. Hope it'll help in your decision making.

My brother follows the same route and has a manual 2 door Mira. Mileage above 20 kmpl is achievable if you manage to keep a light foot and avoid those infamous office hours on the highway. Automatic 4 door Mira (I have one) should give you 16-18 kmpl but it lacks woefully on torque (frustrating in traffic hours when you need to pick up speed quick) and is going to hit the bumps in PWD unless you add spacers or larger tyres.
Swift is going to consume more fuel but will give you power and that look. Honda City's consumption is probably around the same ball park as swift if not slightly higher. It has a softer suspension though compared to the other two in my opinion and that helps on the slightly longer drives. Fuel costs may not be too big a concern in today's petrol rates but petrol will rise again. If you have a larger family car already and would like to save around 2000 a month in fuel costs, buy a Mira, if not, I would say City or Swift are just about equally good if you add pros and cons for both.

Room as in space? I doubt it. Swift is the most cramped of all 3. I have driven all 3 and found Mira with most rear and front leg room, followed by Honda City and lastly Swift.
Do in pindi as the pindi boyzes do !!

Because it is an 11 year old car way past its prime and hence about to be replaced in the next 15 days
