Wink Tips for keeping a rx8

I'll be buying a rx8 soon InShAllah. I want to know what should I consider while buying one. How to maintain this beast. I've read comment from experienced rotary owners like fahdchhapra and Cylestyne. Just want some more explanation from them and other rotary owners.

Sure bro, i can give all the info you need. i own a 2007 type E RX8 with rotary engine and still going strong at 87000km. you need to know that buy only that RX8 which has original engine and good compression. Swapped engine will disable your traction control and stability control options.

People here in our country will tell you that parts are costly but that is a lie, they are cheaper than Reborn and easy to find. Rotary engine is all about how you start your car when at cold and stop your car when you park it for long time. always change oil after 2500km ( non synthetic oil) and keep track of oil levels after every tank full. People here will also tell you that Rotary has bad fuel economy like 3 to 5km/ Litre , But Bro , let me tell you, if you keep your ignition System up to date then you can attain mileage equal to Reborn. Mine is doing 8km/litre and im happy with it.

Check water levels frequently and always put BMW coolant in it. Use genuine parts when needed.

One last thing, Car Dealers here will tell you that it is difficult to sell RX8 . its true if you have swapped engine. Genuine condition car will sell easily as i already have 3 offers

Ask anything you like, we are here to help.
