Default How to improve honda city 1.5 aspire prosmatec suspension

    Hello,
as the title says it all. honda city aspire 1.5 prosmatec has a really painful suspension. it simply can not handle islamabads roads, tiny potholes feels like you are falling from the sky and banging your head against the pavement of the road.

are there any remedies to solve this stiff/hard suspension of honda city?

and coils/springs as an add on to be attached to make it a little soft/smooth and not he hard stiff bumps we get everyday.

i have eurostar tires still on, car is on 45k and plan to change tires soon to michelin energy savers. but still tyre wont do any wonders and soften up the car suspension.

so what relly be the life saving, headache fixing solution to this...please?

change tyres to continental cc5 or Yoko advan DB of size 195/65/15.
theres nothing else you can do.

just changing the tyres will make ride alot better.

will 195 mess up the fuel economy? as the recommended tires sticker on the drivers side says 185/65/15.

continental or yoko better than Michelin?

Continental is better than yokohama or Michelin.
I'd say go for 185/65/r15 or 195/60/r15 max. Don't go for 195/65/r15 as it messes up fuel economy as well and steering gets harder as well.

To save on leather they used rock hard foam. It sounds silly but u can get seat covers stitched with extra foam layers n place soft cushions on seats

Bro u simply have to change the car. 185/65R14 continental CC5 tyres will improve things a lot.

Among all Hondas I still remember the ride of 89 Accord.

In modern Hondas 2005 EXi with stock 185/65R14 was best.

tyres have a huge impact. I got 185/65/15 Pirelli Cinturato P1. Ride has improved a lot. potholes do irritate but overall there is a remarkable difference. Road grip has improved. Instead of 32/30 psi, i am maintaining 30/30 psi (air pressure). Euros had 42psi in them at the time of delivery. Maybe the company inflates them this much just to reduce the engine drag force during initial running. Fuel economy has increased in fact according to the fuel consumption monitoring system. no impact has been felt while steering the car. Leather seats are not that bad. they dont burn your butt even if the car stays parked in open, primarily due to their color.
