Though I loathe LIANA. But in your case, I'd say, go for LIANA, eyes closed. JDM dinkie in that price range would be a nothing less than a nightmare and cultus isn't really worth it. See if you could get a PKDM Wagon-R in that price though its highly unlikely.

Liana post 2009 are decent rides. You'd be satisfied with its performance but could cost a fortune when it comes to repairs same as the JDMs, but believe me, those cheaper JDMs would need lots of repairs. Cultus is the cheapest car to maintain in your price range but it doesn't offer much.

You are right but every one in family is against this but I will try to convince

Cultus although does not offer much but you have peace of mind at highway as efi cultus also gives 12 13 in city and 16 18 at highway please correct if I m wrong

The mileage you've qouted is of a 1500-2000 km Cultus, it keeps decreasing with time as the engine gets older, But cultus in no doubt a great car, If you can compromise on goodies and comfort, than cultus is the best car you can buy. a five year old cultus would be just as good as a Liana. I'd say it again, Wagon-R VXL is your thing, but I guess it all comes down to personal choices. BTW, Stay away from V2, I know its a nice car with lots of goodies, but at the end its a Chinese car, A li'l decrease in JDM price tags would burn its market to the ground.
