They are off the shelves at the moment and pump guys told us that no Caltex lubricant in stock now. Only in big drums at the lube shop.

It's great as now Total will be available in Islamabad also. Their Super is 90 RON

    Network Fuels

Total Parco offers a variety of top quality fuels on its service stations to suit the needs of every customer and is at the forefront of taking new initiatives in the oil industry. It was the first OMC in Pakistan to launch 90RON unleaded petrol under the brand name of Hi-Super without any additional cost to the customer.

    Good to know.

Where can one find company operated TOTAL near Bahria . There is one good pump near Swan / high court bridge but I don't know is it company operated or not.

One more question , as I m interested in total Quartz 9000, (5w30), which oil filter should be used for city'12 (30,000km). Lepon/guard /Japanese to get max of 5000 km mileage . Plus which air filter is best .
    Thanks

For filters, I would recommend you nothing but genuine Honda filters.
They are a little expensive if bought from Honda 3S, but you have a satisfaction that they are original. Normally, for a private car, air filter is changed once a year, so Rs. 1800/- isn't a big deal.

Bad news is, our country has too many fakes as well. Plus Pakistan is not such a dusty country where dust cyclones and typhoons hit every other day. If you are driving in Rawalpindi/Islamabad, then these are normal driving conditions for which Honda Atlas has published that user manual.

Honda recommends changing oil filter at 10,000 KMs. If anyone wants to change it at 5,000 KMs, thats his choice.
A few days ago I was at a local workshop for my Khyber, a sales guy came and after negotiations, he sold Guard oil filters to mechanic for Rs. 30/- each. Now imagine the quality of paper used in such a filter.

When one can afford a 1.5 million Rupees car, one should be using original items and believe me, in the long run you will find them cheap. I have kept City i-VTEC for 3.5 years, always got the filters from Honda 3S and it used to give me amazing fuel average.
