Default City I-Dsi (Pre Facelift) 2003-05 or Suzuki Baleno 2004-05

    AOA,

As the title suggests, I am looking to buy an additional car. Options shortlisted after all the calculations are mentioned in the title. Suggestions are required from expert members based on some facts and figures rather than personal liking / disliking's.

Update: What if Liana is inserted in the list of options ?
    Regards,
    Kashif Rafiq

Better service support, car is better built than a Baleno (which you bought forst and then tried to make it drive worthy), a bit more power etc etc

Go for a Honda city hands down!!! Its body and mechanical parts are available in abundance both new and used at dirt cheap rates......the car offers exceptional fuel economy and suspension is also quite soft and comfortable.....huge boot space and smooth engine sound...i would prefer a honda city even over a honda civic anyday!!!

Had a discussion with my electrician regarding the same, he told that in local market baleno has two variants Efi and Simple Carb. as per his advise, the Efi has the baleno famous issue of backfire. so he advised me to go for carb one if the choice is baleno.

Baleno came with Carb before 2002

Baleno came with EFI from 2002

To resolve the issue of back firing is to change 2 plug waste spark technology (original - G13B) to 4 plug technology (baleno 1.5 imported engines G15A).

    or

Apply thin layer of dielectric grease to coil's boots at plug end.

Baleno with FF CNG (if injection technology) perform better, same as in Liana.

your are mistaking in understanding how cop (coil on plug) works in cop coil drives is programmed in ecu by using altered coils you would overload ecu becoz it would have only two coil programmed santro coils are cheap alternate

My friend I read your post twice and I understand what your are saying only way to have four coils fiirring independently is to either program four coil in ecu and baleno engine is g13bb g13b is suzuki mk1 engine only DOHC g seires engine
