Default City I-Dsi (Pre Facelift) 2003-05 or Suzuki Baleno 2004-05

    AOA,

As the title suggests, I am looking to buy an additional car. Options shortlisted after all the calculations are mentioned in the title. Suggestions are required from expert members based on some facts and figures rather than personal liking / disliking's.

Update: What if Liana is inserted in the list of options ?
    Regards,
    Kashif Rafiq

How many kms had those cars collected? I agree however, I heard a person sold his 06 city driver like 70k kms for 980k
Speeding does not kill anybody, it's suddenly becoming stationary that does so

I think one was 90k+ and other two were 130k+. Two of these were without CNG

Honda City is your car. I own a 2008 model, My neighbour has Baleno 2005, there is no comparison (even my friend who owns baleno admits), Baleno has alot of issues especially on CNG, City has much better fuel consumption and looks too, not to metion the silent and comfortable cabin.

baleno has a much more comfortable drive than the poorly designed city
baleno is much more stable than the oddly shaped city
    baleno smokes a city easily
city has a much better fuel economy than baleno
    baleno does around 11 - 14 kmpl
    city does around 13 - 18 kmpl
baleno has extremely poor driving visibility at night
spare parts for both cars are easily available and imo suzuki parts should be cheaper than a honda
so basically both cars are equally good it just comes down to your budget because city is a little more expensive than the baleno

    Every baleno is efi...

yes, because there are some cars in market which are clocked very less. some with owners having much other options, and some with owners gone abroad and care parked in their garages.

I have recently purchased Suzuki Baleno 2004-05 boss it is outclass. Bought it in 550k. Sir believe me it is awesome with Genuine condition it has everything which you want to have in your car. If you have plan to buy a car i would suggest you to go for baleno. Because this is the only 1300 cc car which comes in this price 2nd opthin is Honda City which you can buy @ 700k in similar condition. Baleno is far better than what i expected. go for a petrol one.
