    Default EE90/Indus corolla95-98 /Civic exi97/98 /Platz

I have a budget of 550K. Will be running mostly on cng with an average 250km per week within Karachi. I would prefer a low maintenance car......resale not an issue! request members opinion please remaining within these rides...

    1. Corollas will be cheapest in maintenance
    2. Civic would be more comfortable to drive with a very little difference in maintenance
    3. Plats again has all engine & suspension same as Vitz which is easy but 1000cc on CNG won't do justice plus God forbid if you damage the body then that might be expensive to repair due to small availability of parts however it'll be best to drive considering its Japanese.
    4. You can also consider Baleno which will be newer model and equally easy to maintain like the first 2 options.

    5. Don't ever consider a Liana or a City Vario because they both are a disaster specially on CNG.

    Hope that helps

Thank you so much for such a detailed reply! What would you consider a better option Bro? A local Indus corolla 96/97 or a EE90 1990-92

newer better. I think you can find a decent indus corolla in your budget but then you should have at least rs. 50K to bring it into a good nick.

I agree newer the better BUT if you're willing to spend 550k on EE90 the odds of finding a EE90 in great nick are higher than AE100, Just make sure whatever you get it is in best of condition and not abused, spend wisely.

I am definitely willing to spend 550K on EE90 and it is the car which my heart is telling me to buy! But the EE90s that I have seen aren't up to mark.

What do you say about buying a EE90 in 470-480K and spending 60K on it.

550K is all I can spend on my ride. It includes buying plus any maintenance to bring it in to shape

I love EE90, I have fond memories with it, it was my first car that my father bought me when I turned 20. Brand new maroon XL :-) still puts a smile on my face just thinking about it. If you find one which has all straight lines on body then go for it... BUT if anything is off in terms of body alignment then don't since it'll be a pain to fix it all

Well brother when your budget is a total of 550 then i would suggest you to buy a car aroung 500k max and spare the other 50k for maintainance.

As you're buying a used car then you definitely need some amount to bring it upto your taste

in the said budget, either the Ee90 or a 1.6 gti. Because like everyone said, one can never too sure about a secondhand vehicle

From the above pics , the looks fine , only bumpers need attention , check for the rust on the body , if its rust free and the engine is in good nick then the physical appearance can always be changed by spending some cash on paint and poshish etc
