Default A vehicle required which will best fulfill the requirements

    Respected Members,

    The usage:
    100kms within isb/rwp
    once a fortnight to peshawar
once a fortnight or at times more to swat
usually used with 2 people on board
Something that can seat 4 comfortably and not touch the ground
    Should be reasonably economical.
    Replacing a prius 1.5.
Range around 18 but if the idea is good enough, can extend

    The contenders:

    1) 2006-2011 Diesel Corolla:
    http://bestcarmag.com/sites/default/...ta_Corolla.JPG
    http://static.usnews.rankingsandrevi...gularfront.jpg

    2) 2011-2014 Altis 1.6 manual:

    3) 1984-1997 Hilux:

    4) Corolla X diesel:

    any other suggestions are welcome

Jap vehicles won't last too long, the fuel here isn't good enough to make it run so much. My prius worked flawlessly for 50k km, after that, started knocking and no one could diagnose the cause. Tried many different things but to no avail, so got rid of it

Lets bring this back to life, finding a 1.8 manual altis in a clean condition is a bit more difficult then i thought. Now say if i up the game a little and invest upto 3 million, what would be feasible options then

No body kit, body kit ruins practicality. What are the mileage figures of a 2.5 manual Vigo? Any idea

Manual Vigo 9-9.5km/ in city and upto 12km/l on long.

    Got surprised by the mileage of a 2003 surf with 1KDFTV, long 14 km/l @ 100-110 km/h and 17.2 km/l @ 80-90 km/h, thanks to 5-speed auto.

1kd is very fuel-efficient but one has to be very careful with the fuel and maintenance. One hiccup and 150k then and there

By a bodykit i don't literally mean a whole body kit, i just mean those backlights and back bumper extensions. Dont go for a vigo please, its officially a chichora gari plus police would stop you whenever and wherever they see you

Today I explored the import options, prius Alfa and an axio hybrid... This is all becoming very confusing now. Vigo I was considering, because I am about to build a house, and I could use a pick up to transport things, so if my daily driver can do that, it would save me from purchasing another vehicle..
