Default Family car in 1.6-1.7 million

I need member suggestions for the most suitable car for a family of five.
It can be imported or local, new or used (not too old if used)
The amount including registration should fall in the mentioned category.
SEDAN is preferred as it would be used as the only car for a family.
Would be better if its economical in terms of fuel consumption as well as maintenance.

    thank you

If you can live without ABS then go for XLI otherwise City.

In used, you can go for Honda Civic but it'll not be economical for you.

In the above mentioned budget, a nice family car would be a gli automatic 2013 or an altis 2012. If you ride on paved roads, you can consider a 2014 1.5 city. Civic is not a 5 person car. In imports, you have a choice to go way back, 2006 premio or a 2007 axio. Oh and ofcourse, my personal favourite, the 2.0D saloon 2010

Honda City Aspire 1. 5 Manual or Auto is upto you. This is the car if you want value for money since it would be a new car with 3S support and peace of mind coupled with a bit economy.

I know its probably the most sold car in Pakistan but its the most stolen car too, Toyota Corolla.
What would your suggestion be in that department? Is it worth the risk? I might be parking outside, in front of my house. What measures can be taken to ensure its safety?
I know two people with their corollas stolen in 20 house radius of my house.

If security is a risk in your area, avoid it. I have kept many and I have seen many get taken from other people, security is a major concern. But the reason for it being the most stolen vehicle is that the car is stolen the night it comes home, in which case, it often has no security installed on it. Lots of ways to attempt to protect it but no surety. So the risk is your choice, from my study and understanding, there are two things, which if installed, after that, they have very little chance of being stolen. I could inbox them to you if you want, won't want to disclose it publicly since this information can be used by anyone and everyone 😜

City doesn't have poor ground clearance... Honda city is very well within your budget.
When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.

City has a bad clearance. Especially on the stock tires, it sucks
