    Default JDM vs PKDM

I have range of 12-13 lac max.
currently owned corolla 2011 manual gli model but want to sell it as i required small size car with automatic transmission.
    My requirements are

    1- Automatic transmission
2- Good build quality / Parts availability in market
3- Good / Reasonable AC cooling
4- Minimum used (preferably under 5000 km) / Latest Model
x - Gadgets or similar options

I really hate to visit mechanics therefore looking for reliable/smooth and above all quiet car with good quality build

Some friends suggested me to get Mira or others told to get alto. which is more prefered ?

in your budget 12-13 lacs, Passo is the option.

I have previously owned Passo 2007 model for 2 years, and now I have Passo 2011,
They have a lot of features as compared to Corolla and their AC is also very very good than PKDMs.

If you want to know any more information about Passo, im available.

I have not owned a Mira, but driven it many times.
whether its a top of line edition or not, its a 660cc small car, so when you switch from 1300cc GLi to 660cc car, you will feel a lot of difference in power.
but if you switch to 1000cc, then power difference is very less.

Rest, no doubt Mira (top of the line) is a best car in its 660cc category.
660cc are meant to be used for small trips, like home to school or office, its best as a daily commuter for short trips.

I am asking why you think Passo is better than Mira or Alto? Surely you have compared them and found flaws in Mira and Alto or something better in Passo than the other two. I am asking you to share these observations/reasons so others can learn and make better decision.

my daily running is not more than 50-60km. so i guess its good. I am really tired on manual car due to traffic jam in rush hours which is very common on my route for daily. also its very annoying to manage big car like GLI in traffic rush hour. therefore i want to move on to smaller car with auto transmission and better AC.

what about long tripe. example what if I want to have road trip to HYD (and later to ISB in future). what is general advice on how much breaks/stops should one get in long trips on 660cc car?

Then both Mira and Passo suits your needs.

If you have a lot of long trips, then consider Passo.
If long trips are seldom, then Mira will do the purpose too.

I have just taken 660cc a couple of time on long route (ISB-LHR) motorway (about 450km), no stop is required even in summers if you have reliable tyres.

and i have taken Passo many times on Motorway, it gives best results.

about mileage on long routes using a 660cc, if you travel at 60-90 km/h then it will give you better mileage like 23-27 km/ltr.
but if you drive it at 120km/h speed, then mileage is about 14km/ltr

First of all passo has a bigger engine same as vitz 1 kr-fe
    more space then mira/alto
much batter road grip and stability at high speed (110-120km/h)
and i think in the budget of 1.2 million 660cc engine car it's not a wise decision
in this budget we can find a very good condition toyota passo or daihatsu boon
currently i m using suzuki cervo with turbocharged engine but.. same time it feels very sluggish....

Frankly, if you find GLi big and difficult to manage then do not opt for Passo. There is not a lot of difference, better go for a smaller car like Alto or Mira.

ok Subaru Pleo Plus seems very good in options. slight more options as compared to MIRA. I dont have any issue with resale. i want something good in quality with options. in the given budget.

What about its parts availability? will there be any newer model like 2015 or+ available in the market? i prefer to get new model or very slightly used model like new one.
