Default Advise me to buy a car in 8 to 9 lac

    Respected All pakwheels members/Experts

Sir i have a budget of 8-9 lac which is my jama ponji of all my life. I am going to first time purchase a used car up to 2008 model which i will itself drive as a taxi within city due to jobless. i need all of your expertise.

Advise me a car with less fuel consumption, second trouble free (not take me to often workshop at least in next five year other than little maintenance) and the last of course its resale value.

My option are due to limit budge

1- Suzuki Swift 1.3 2010-12 : no attraction for me either is manual transmission or automatic. attraction is good shape (which attract the passenger) ABS , good AC, comport, power steering and power windows, immobilizer.

2- Honda City 2008/2009: i heard it has fuel economy, comfort and less maintenance and resale value. but find to hard

3- Wagon R 660cc OR Move 2011/2012: due to good space it attract me the most, good features but the problem is i cant find accidental free. i dont like pkdm wargon r vxl.. its body quality is very low.

4- Cultus 2013/14: i can find it just upgrade model other than models of mentioned above... not enough good AC, and the cultus tou band b ho chuki ha.

Once again to all experts it is my humble request to all of you, advise me a good car and that car you will be suggest for me. meray ghar k chalnay ka daromadar osi pe ho ga. i am living in a rental house with two kids.

Honda City is good option. Last week my colleague bought City 2004 model for 820K. Its CVT and fuel consumption is good. Re-sale is also good.

Or choose some XLI, GLI 2007/2008 model. This car is durable and strong re-sale.

Try to get some decent Corolla.. JDMs 660cc are not meant for taxi purpose in Pakistan... Cultus is also a good option...

Ur options in max 9 lac would be Swift 2011-12 DX, Cultus 2012-14 or 660cc JDM.
A neat and clean City 07-08 or Xli 2007-08 and 2009-10 would be above 10 lac for sure. Plz do note that I am talking about NEAT and CLEAN Xli or City, a lot of Xlis or Citys below 9 are available in market but they would be the ones with troubles.
We are currently having a Swift DX 2011, Vitz 2012 and Alto JDM 2013 at home.
Swift DX is good for acceleration and pick. Its engine is really smooth and power steering is really soft with very good drive. Fuel consumption is fine on ling routes. AC is just ok, not bad but not very good either.
However downside is that it is not fuel efficient within the city, local bulit quality not up to the mark and yearly tax is high (13k for non-filer).
Vitz 2007-10 is also a good option in terms of driving pleasure, interior space, and fuel economy within the city. AC is excellent and car is durable. Life time token once paid is also a relaxation factor.
However downside is poor fuel economy on motorway especially once it crosses 100km/hr, low ground clearance (kisses every bump), and carefulness in maintenance of CVT transmission.
JDM 660 cc vehicles are only good within the city, however I believe they are priced ridiculously high.
Rest its ur choice. I shall suggest u find a excellent Corolla 2004 to 2006 or City 2004 to 2006. But again, EXCELLENT will need energy and very aggressive search throughout the city. Its really difficult to find such a car but not impossible.

Wagon R PKDM zero meter option is also very good if u can extend ur budget. Car is solid, excellent fuel economy, engine really powerful with good AC and zero meter means no headache for next 2 to 3 years (unless u r really unlucky).

If you have experience of driving taxi before only then I will advise you to spent all your saving to such a car. My advise is to spent minimum amount and keep the rest save.
