Hey Guys,
By the grace of ALLAH i have recently imported my US specs Lexus SC 400 model 1992 (pearl white) which is known as Soarer in Japan.
The car is equipped with 1UZ-FE V8 engine and has a 4-speed auto transmission. other features include leather seats, ABS break, power tilt steering, cruise control, traction control, power front seats and anti-theft alarm system.
Now let the pictures do the talking.
Comments (positive or negative) and suggestions are highly appreciated.
Pictures of how it looked when i purchased the car:
I was not very happy when it arrived because there was lot of work to by carried out so i decided to first finish mechanical work and then go for the body work.
Step # 1:
The whole cross member and differential was badly rusted so had to go for a complete new one.
Old cross member:
look how bad it was.
New cross member installed:
Polished the drums and replaced new brakes plus changed all four suspensions because the old ones were crap.
Now coming to the transmission, it had a shifting problem so had to change it. I wanted to swap with a manual transmission but it was a pain to find one so no choice left at the moment but to install a new auto tranny.
Old one goes out:
New one comes in:
Step # 2:
Once mechanical work was over then started off with body work and new paint. The front bumper and left fender was not good as the previous owner repaired it and i was not convinced to repair it again so got another ones. Also the driver side door hinge was jammed so had to change it as well.
Old bumper, fender and door out:
With the new Bumper, fender and door hinge:
Now it looked fine and gave it for the complete body work and paint.
Body work being carried out:

After the new paint (came out perfect):
The car is now ready after polishing and finally on road. I have ordered coilovers for it and now looking for the perfect new shoes (rims) and hope to get them soon In Sha Allah.
Didn't had the time to take new pics after the polishing so will keep you guys posted of all new updates.
Cheers!
