Salaam.
I really like your new car, especially the interior and cockpit
Um, Ive got an automatic Toyo Altis, but in any case I know a lot about auto transmissions. In the city, always drive in D which stands for Drive. D3 is basically engine braking when going up or down mountains. 2 gives you more engine power or braking and L is giving you maximum power from your engine, not for going fast, but for lets say going up a steep hill in the Himalayas
I think youre in KHI so you wont ever need to use any gear except P , R and D . If you come to ISB and go up Maragallas or something, use D3 and 2.
P- Park
R- Reverse
N- Neutral
D- Drive
3- Engine Braking
2- More Engine Braking
L- Low or Max. Engine Braking
When you put your gear in P, and turn off your car or release the brake pedal, you DONT have to Pull or press ( is your handbreak next to Trans. or next to acceleratot and brakes? ) your hand/foot brake. Park on a hill and leave the car in P with handbreak down, your car wont move an inch, (based on mechanics and science)
Anymore questions, please ask.I think L is not for what u said...check owners manual
