I've wanted to say this since the last 4 years, and now that there's a chance, I'd shout:
[highlight]When I first saw the car, I thought Toyota had so cruelly ruined their best-seller. The car seems to have been designed by a committee with many conflicting opinions. Different parts of the car seem to have been borrowed from different (classes of) cars and patched together in a comic attempt. It was apparent the designers couldn't make up their mind whether it had to have a sporty or a stately look, and they tried to put in the worst of both worlds.
The interior, initially, looked like giving out a powerful feel, but once I got in, it was over-chunky for such a car. The dash is just a big slab of plastic, they shoud've broken the lines somewhere.
It was really easy to drive (for me atleast, since I'm used to driving my 25 year old car), but the suspension was too soft for the rear-seat passengers' comfort - whenever it hits a pothole, I cringe in anticipation - the jolt's coming...the jolt's coming...and then it comes a full second later.
