@SpoonMotorSports here, and other folks who'd like to help:
Background:
I understand that if I want to run H23 VTEC with H22 P13 ECU, I'd need to upgrade injectors to H22's 345cc ones. Bacause stock H23 injectors are 290cc, but the P13 would believe that it's running 345cc and engine would end up with lean mixture.
Now, question:
If I run 290cc injectors with wideband O2 on P13, wouldn't the wideband be obliged to tell the ECU that it's running this much lean- and in return, order an increased fuel time from injectors?
Also, I believe that H23 injectors have a better flow pattern, suited to the combustion chamber construction, designed to managed leaner run for OBD2 emissions and fuel economy standards. Wouldn't it pay off in this situation, so I could keep my stock 290cc ones?
Bearing in mind that 290s are saturated with a tad bit slower response time, that just might induce pinging at sudden demand, like at swift throttle opening + load etc.
So:
290cc saturated injectors instead of 345cc peak & hold, with P13 designed for later ones... YES or NO?
