@ Raj: When you take your car to defence suzuki, ask them to check your CNG-CPU with the the special diagnostic set, provided by Suzuki Japan, for checking up the CNG Processor performance. (this is a separate computer for CNG only and nothing to do with the EFI computer processor chip for petrol). Yes, brace yourself for this....Your Liana has TWO on-board computer chips, instead of one. Most probably 1 or 2 files are missing from CNG CPU. Ask them to refesh or reload the software or if a newer version of the software has arrived, ask them to install the same. And if this all does not help, ask them to replace the computer processor of CNG, just for checking purposes. They would do all this.
@ Akbar: To be honest, irrespective of the fact that Liana has got 4th generation CNG kit with gas injectors, the drive on petrol is also exceptional. Its much better than XLi, any day.
The Baleno I bought from you has a better pickup on CNG than on petrol. I will tape up the CNG indicator and will ask you to drive and tell on which fuel you were driving. You will say petrol. However it would be CNG.
Ahsan1702: A few months down the road, you will witness a reversal of roles on the fuel stations. There would be only one petrol dispenser and 9-11 CNG ones because the petrol pump owners have now started conceding that fuel business is giving them loss while CNG is total profits. Islamabad-Rawalpindi has the largest concentration of exclusive CNG stations which means the business is most lucrative.
@ khan-hyd: If your father is planning to buy a Liana, buy the LXI-CNG one because it has ABS and fog lights. Costs 50,000 more but you would feel safe.
Its not 50 rupees saving. Consider this: I was using around 300 litres of fuel in my Corolla XLI, costing me Rs. 17300 (11 kms/Litre). I now pay less than 5000 rupees for the same.
The pickup at signals, with A/c is at acceptable level, provided your "files" are not missing. Refer fzaman, a PW member" who is a P.hd in CPU and CNG files refresh mode. Don't treat all other "CNG converted" cars to Liana. This has been tested by the Japanese before formal launch of the vehicle and are still getting feedbacks for improvements.
