hello!nice topic but yaar balazona and Fli...why are u fighting......just left that and returned towards topic...LPG is a liquified form of petrolium gas but it it not ECO....as we talk about LPG in pakistan...so i can just say is "Juggar"....here u can install LPG with cylinder on Just 2 or 3k with all that crappy installation....no safety nothing at all.....as regard to CNG so here CNG get proper response and is professionally installed...in some foriegn countries COPS are using LPG as an alternative fuel...so it just depen on how u use it....as far as i known...CNG is dry so it can just ham ur valves...as LPG is in form of liquid so it can perform better but can't said about damages it make inside engines....and smell of LPG...uffff...so here CNG is 90% better than LPG.....can't say about other countries but in pakistan CNG is over growing alternative fuel....and it is also enviorment friendly...so just need a proper installation and ur ready to go...gives 85% results like petrol...just maintain and care it and it will help u alot saving ur money....Thanxxx
hey sali and ijk ... you guys rock! 1. does it make sense to covert chevrolet or santro on CNG, cuz these babies are known to give you crazy fuel consumtion already! 2. do you guys know exactly how much kilometers santro efi and chevy efi go in a liter of petrol ) thanks
hellorawblark...thanx for ur appreciation...as u ask about petrol avg of Santo Exec 1.0 Efi...so on petrol it easily gives u around 15-17kms In city without A/C and around 15kms with A/C.....chevorlett can easily do 20-22km on city without A/C...as far as u say about converting them to CNG so man petrol is now 48.92/liter...from today....:)...so i think government don't want us to run our cars on Petrol...so u can swicth on to CNG...get proper installation with advancer and emulators and ur cars rocks on CNG.....Thanxx
hello, sali and others, do you any idea about people getting converted the chevy 800 on CNG, whats is the performance? Secondly, I asked the dealer who said that the warranty will be void, if CNG is installed, what u have to say about this.
Hi all,
I would like to comment on CNG being 'dry' fuel that may hurt the valves. Sir, fuel whether it is gasoline, LPG or CNG, when injected to the engine takes the form of air fuel mixtue (gaseous form) in the cylinder. So there is no question of dry or wet. if fuel injection system properly synchronizes with your engine, you shouldn't have any problem (theoretically).
