"..... its only a piece of metal which connects two suspension tops." wow. thats so far from the truth! Its not just a piece of metal. The properties of the metal affect how much force (flexibility) is offered from one wheel to the other.
I hope u know what u really r trying to do with the strut bar.
Depending on ur car's current suspension setup, it needs to be determined whether the bar should go to the firewall first or straight from one tower brace to the other. If i'm not wrong u have independent struts on the front. If you can get a screw type strut bar u can adjust the stiffness of the suspension setup. U'll probably get more stiffness from going through the firewall but u won't be able to adjust it.
U want to use it on track or do u just want the looks or do u want to increase the turn-in or want to transform from over steer to under steer ?
Its not just A PIECE OF METAL!
Have seat belts? Use them!
