I see people throwing 100,000-150,000 as "own" to buy new costly cars costing around 12-14 lakh, only rich people can buy these costly cars, but when it comes to buying petrol, they cannot "afford" it. Isn't that strange? Yesterday I saw few people taking delivery of an Altis, but the left the car at workshop to put CNG in it, now willing to put a drop of petrol to it. Similarly Hondas are expensive cars in Pakistan, and supposedly rich people are buying them. Even those who lease must have good incomes and well off people and can spare some 5,000 rupees a month for petrol.
I am not rich the people I talked about above. I have limited income as well, that's why I could not buy a Honda and settled on an Xli and that too on lease and I spend around 3,000 per month on petrol, just two visits to pump a momth to get a tank full (a 50 litres full tank lasts for more than three weeks). So no need to punish my car. This is the point, I hope you guys agree.
