LOL @ converted to CNG...nahinnnn nahinnnn....waqar bhai aisa nah bolein.....my city is a very fuel efficient car, averages around 12-13 after removing its alloys. Besides the frequent refueling, you should check out the long lines at CNG outlets ( i guess its a small price to pay). im not going to university here so i cant research on those topics :D. yes lol @ barbar salon . If i ever drop by ISB, ill definately check out the baleno.thanks for the invite :D... as far as spending 15000 on CNG, could you clarify that a bit?. I agree people with running of around 1000 KM/month or so should get CNG installed, cause petrol will not be feasible.
i have confidence in my city Idsi technology, and ill go back to 13" rims if i have to, but wont get CNG installed in it hehehe :P...the civic is the real fuel guzzler right now..goes flat in 400KM after 2800 bucks worth of fuel...but that car wouldnt be used often...
to conclude i would like to say it totally depends one self what course of action he/she should take. i sincerely hope Hybrids can be introduced at a low cost, perhaps switching to ETHANOL (50% ethanol 50% petrol combo), stuff like that would be a good option too. i have personally seen people crying after their CNG installations. jissay kehtay hein keh if some one faces trauma in early age, they remmember it for the rest of their lives. same is my case as far as CNG is concerned.. LOL.. besides that, i hope Pakistan can keep up with constant rise in the demand for domestic gas. with more users converting to CNG, they need to keep on increasing output and maintain pressure. I have a feeling that CNG prices shall keep on growing too, thanks to the corrupt politicians here..i believe you would be able to comment better on that...yes 100RS/litre is a possibility, if a conflict should occur with Iran
