Salam.
Im new to pakwheels yet an old audiophile.I wanted an advice with my new car audio. It is:
Pioneer DEH-P4050UB
2 pairs Pioneer 550w max 3-way speakers (Forgot model number as theyr quite old but work perfect!) powered by HU.
Solid Audio F-51 5 channel amp.Max watts are 1200 and fuse rating is 40Ax2.How much watts should it be pumping?
2 JBL 1204D subs r running on it in bridged mode. How much RMS they might be getting and i guess 350watts RMS is required for them rite?
Now theyr both using 4 channels so how to give them the power of the 5th channel as well?
Plus JBL 1202D is louder probably beacause its 2 Ohm stable? And same goes as their name suggests with other models such as JBL P1222 and P1224 and Pioneer 308D2 and 308D4.Then y do they make 4 Ohm?
Im confused if i should keep the amp and sell my subs to buy 2 Ohm stable subs to be louder?
Or shall i keep the subs and change the amp to a mono block? My budget for an amp is between 10,000-15,000.
Please friends suggest me amps with prices?
P.S: Geforce fitted my system, details on demand lol...
