In a twist of events the iconic American car maker, GM, has found that its Chinese market has surpassed the US market in terms of sales, making the Chinese market GM’s largest market.
GM is the market leader in the Chinese car market, and plans to maintain its presence in the worlds hottest market with an amazing 25 new model launches in 2010 alone.
Whilst 2009 was a poor year for car sales in the European and American market, the Chinese market was on fire with GM selling over 1.82 million vehicles in the Chinese market alone. In the first quarter of 2010, GM have already sold 620,300 vehicles which is an increase of 71.4% over the first quarter of 2009, which shows that GM are in for yet another good year in the Chinese market.
