Thank you for such valueable information sir. May i add my own experience here?
My car's tires kept making some noise every now and then. bearings replaced the sound gone for a few weeks. fed up with repeated changes in the bearings, my father went to toyota isb. the brake pads were changed and the sounds vanished for 3-4 days. came agin. Eugene said hub needed to be changed. done. sound vanished. came back after 3-4 days. this time he said the bearings needed a replacement. angry, my father wrote to Toyota Indus. mr. amir replied which showed that he didnt have the slightest idea as to how the bearings of a car are changed. also, he used childish language reffering to our original mechanic who has helped Toyota Isb in many difficult cases esp of the UN LCs.
an uncle of mine is a retired maj general who gets his stuff done from toyota rawal. my dad took the car there where the toyota ppl told my dad that toyota isb once had ppl who used to sell parts at rates lower than those listed, something my father recalled having experienced himself during these visits. this the gm knew coz they hired those guys that t.i. had fired.
they've increased their changes drastically, one reason why no one goes to them any longer and thus their advertisements on radio.
what a pity.
