Hello,
I have a Toyota Vitz with manual transmission which is troubling me alot like it takes 2-3 seconds after the accelerator is pressed to increase the rpm. Infact if more is pressed, it feels like its suffocating and engine goes off.It happens in the 1st gear only.
Otherwise engine is soundless and very powerful. No smoke from exhaust etc.
This is really dangerous when on a steep incline road since the rpm takes long the car goes back n hav to pull the handbrake n wait until its gained the accelerator then handbrake down n go.
Engine has done around 90,000kms (55000 in Japan), imported by myself. And its the same even after the plug/point change and engine and cng tuning.
N yes its happening on petrol and cng both.Do i have to remove the CAT from exhaust and spray the electronic cleaner in MAF sensor? Or its something with the ECU(I dont kno wht its function is but im told its the cars computer lol :))?
Hope someone helps.
