Actually the old cars of different brands came up with Denso (Maybe 1990-2004 Pak). These were big in size as compared to todays compressors. It was very expensive also & had good cooling at that time but if it goes through any fault then you cannot get it repaired from A/c technician because the spare parts of these compressors were not available & were only few which were taken out from accidental cars compressors.
No,
Almost all the parts are available and you can also get used parts.
But one good thing of Denso Compressors is that they don't put any load on engine.
Im using FF complete Denso setup in my Khyber,
The car is on petrol and it does puts load on the engine.
By the time passed Denso was replaced by Sanden. They came in the new era cars i.e, 2005-2010 Corolla, 2010 Alto & Cultus etc. These compressors are small in size & can give good cooling upto 40 degree centigrade. They are not expensive that much & if they go through anu fault, they can be repaired easily because the spare parts are available almost everywhere.
Actually these new compressors need a complete replacement whenever they malfunction.
Old ones can be repaired but these new ones are just like disposable stuff.
