LPG price drops by 50% during past two months
KARACHI: LPG price during the past two months was recorded reeling down by about 50 percent, as it had fast shot up on the advent of winter season selling at Rs65/70 per kilo, but with the waning winter followed by the overall depleting demand for LPG especially in earthquake areas, its price got squeezed to a half during the past two months.
Meanwhile, sources told that the supply situation of LPG has also eased up that together with the fall in demand catalyzed into pulling back the LPG price to its pre-winter level of Rs33 per kilo.
LPG Distributors Association’s chairman, Hadi Khan told that the LPG price jack up every year in winter with its increasing demand.
