thats pretty much do able idea but after that i guess one need to replace the cable aswell, as you need to puncture the outer to get to the inner cable for pulling purpose, or whatever but i like this one
yeah man that worked for sure but i was really lucky that day that my machine opened up, u know baad mein kia hua, the plastic hook that holds the metal rod got damaged while fiddling around to open the door and it gave up like after 10-15 door openings and the rod fell direct into the path of door glass, jamming door window glass, i have to open up the door panel to see whats causing the mirror jam, and found that rod that goes from key lock to the lock mechanism was in fallen, and as it was late and my dad doesnt like to drive with anything out of usual so i further bent it out of the way and tied it with a cable tie i have a spare same hook from boot lock and since two weeks planning to put it back but :-#
